Overview
Within the HighTide platform, users with the proper permissions have the ability to adjust, cancel, void, or write-off a pledge. An audit log is created for all adjustments made for a pledge; for any changed information, you must enter a reason for making that change.
Adjusting a Pledge
When adjusting a pledge, the only options that can be changed are Credit Donors or Other Connections. The amount and frequency cannot be adjusted. If the amount or the payment frequency needs changed, you must cancel the current pledge and add the pledge with the updated information. This is due to changes to the amount or frequency that would change the expected payment amounts as well as expected payment amount.
To adjust the pledge you will navigate to the pledge, then click Adjust Pledge.
Once you select which field you would like to change on the pledge, you must enter a reason before you are able to review and save changes.
Canceling, Voiding, or Writing-Off A Pledge
To change the status of a pledge you will navigate to the pledge you need to change the status for. You will then click on Status which will open a modal to allow you to update the status.
After selecting the updated status you will enter a reason and confirm your change.
