Overview
The HighTide platform is customizable, including data reporting throughout the system. Each organization has the ability to have reports that are specific to their organization displayed on the Dashboard. This can be accomplished by building a report and then inserting a report widget on a Dashboard.
Navigating to Report Widgets
To add a report widget to a Dashboard you will navigate to Dashboard under Reporting in the left-hand navigation menu.
Here you will have the ability to view existing Dashboards or create a new one. It is important to note that only one Dashboard can be set as Default. The dashboard in this status will display for all users at your organization.
After clicking on an existing Dashboard you can edit existing report widgets or add new widgets. To add a new Report Widget you will click Add Widget. After clicking, a side drawer will appear allowing you to name your widget, add a description if you wish, and select the report. It is important to note, if the report you wish to display is not an option please confirm that the report has been published in the Report Builder. Only published reports can be inserted into a report widget.
After clicking Save the report will be added and you have the ability to resize and move the widget to your preferred location on the Dashboard.
After you have moved and sized your widget you can Save the dashboard. If the dashboard is set to default, that dashboard will be available for all users.
Adding a New Dashboard
Users may find that they need information that is relevant to their work. In this case, a user can create a dashboard that they can view when needed. To add a new dashboard, from the Dashboards page you will click Add Dashboard. You will name the dashboard and can also provide a description if you choose.
After creating a dashboard, you can then insert relevant report Widgets.
After adding the report widget you can resize the report to display as you would like.
After your dashboard is complete, you can save the dashboard to view from the Dashboards page.
